Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] The PofA website has it

I have been listed on the PofA website (in more than one spot) for a long
time. One listing is on the guild directory currently under discussion.

The amount of spam I get varies.
When I check my email in the morning I delete about 8 spam messages, and
maybe a total of 20 or 25 through out the day. My friends, (some of them
computer
geeks) with no PofA listings, say that even they (the geeks) get varying
amounts of spam.
I dont think 20 hits is very many and delteing them is just sort of like
putting out
the garbage or discarding an unwanted flyer offering pizza
There have been times when the volume of spam I received was higher. It
seems to have no connection to the listings on the PofA site

We monitor the site carefully and take complaints seriously. We are looking
into the matter presented by Maglosia.
Over the past few years there have been 2 complaints.

If the drones out there are programed to harvest this particular PofA page.
I would think everyone on it would be spamed with the same junk which does
not seem to be the case.Nevertheless we will look into this and take
corrective action if needed. If Charles Taylor would like his name removed
from the guild list, we will of course promptly comply.

Steve
