Subject: [Puptcrit] Glove puppet mechs

Hi Mathieu,
In the 1960's I worked on a series for BBC TV 'The Telegoons' and we
used controls exactly as you are describing for the first 13 episodes
when we changed to lip synch invented by Ron Field. The control was
hand held and we operated the eyes and mouth with our free hand.
I suggest you look at the internet site 'telegoons.org' Enter site
and click on puppets. Scroll to bottom and there is a diagram of the
complete working inside a head. It was very effective.
Good luck.
John Dudley
