Though it has been pointed out to me that rather than Tony Sarg being a
hero even though he was a puppeteer, it might be saying that he was
forgotten even though he was a puppeteer.  Either way it's an imprecise
bad sentence.

Considering that they DO cover puppetry a little more than the other  
rag in town (Yeah, I know that the NYT is better about reviewing  
puppetry) I don't think they have anything against it as much as they  
are part of the general mind-hive that says puppets are for children.  
(That hive-mind is a rant unto itself for me)
