Subject: [Puptcrit] Mirek Trejtnar's workshop in Iowa - 2nd Recommendation


I'd like to second Sally Fisher's recommendation to
study puppet building with Mirek Trejtnar (he is
teaching in Cedar Rapids this summer). Like Sally, I
attended the puppet building workshop he teaches in
Prague. He has an enormous amount of information to
offer and he does so in a clear, organized manner. He
is also an amazing craftsman and artist. From what I
understand, there are several puppet instructors and
festival coordinators based in Prague who promote
themselves heavily but are rogues. Mirek is not one of
them.
