I'd love to know more about this system. I understand the U-shaped holding system quite well I think, and it so happens my hand would be comfortable with this. I don't see exactly how the mouth is so sensitive to the index movement with what you describe. Is there a weight there too? Is the mouth made like a ventriloquist dummy's mouth? Is it connected to an eyelet to somewhere in the head before going to the ring? Is the movement reversed so that it's natural to operate (pull string to open mouth). Can you elaborate, or even better, show us a picture or drawing? The weighted eyes I could understand for an up/down movement, but sideways completely escapes my comprehension, since I don't see how they would get back to center position once head is straight. Thanks a lot, once I get more info from you and a new project of this kind, I'll be happy to try this as soon as possible. Can anybody share pics of those chinese glove puppets some were recommending me to look at the mechanics of? Thanks! _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-lists.driftline.org Admin interface: http://lists.driftline.org/listinfo.cgi/puptcrit-driftline.org Archives: http://www.driftline.org
