Subject: [Puptcrit] List of basic puppetry books needed.



 I will soon be travelling to Washington D.C. on a family vacation and will 
have limited time to search bookstores for material to help my soon to start 
proyect of starting a local puppet company and workshop designed to promote 
puppetry as a means of educating and diminishing violence here in my native 
Honduras. We are all amateurs in the sense that we have never as much as 
handled a puppet and will start with the basics. Is there a basic list of 
books to help me with this endeavour? I need some diverstiy: puppetry, 
workshops for teachers, workshops for children, using puppetry for social 
purposes, reaching childeren and teens through puppets and such. Four or 
five books will probably reach my budget's limits, but I need a longer list 
as a guide.
