Yes, I am proud to have been named director of the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut.  It is a wonderful institution that Frank Ballard and an amazing array of his friends and colleagues have created at UConn, and the School of Fine Arts at the university is wholeheartedly supporting the development of BIMP.  It's a great honor also to be in the company of Bart Roccoberton and the Puppetry Arts Program, which is right next door to the Ballard Institute. 
  There is a great shadow theater exhibition at BIMP right now; perhaps you can come to see it when you all next visit Connecticut. I look forward to keeping you all posted about developments as they occur.  Please let me know if you might have any questions about BIMP.
