Hi Stephen I don't know it it is still do able but when I was with United Stage we often shipped heavy trunks by bus. Greyhound has or had a freight department right in Port Authority and it was very easy and not too expensive and pretty fast, once the costumes beat the performers by several days. Depending upon where you are going there may be a Greyhound stop near by. The other option is a different ground shipper. Try G.O.D Guaranteed overnight delivery is one Duley Pyle is another Good luck Steven Hollow ====================From: RaraBird-AT-aol.com Date: 2007/06/27 Wed AM 01:36:06 CDT To: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] Shipping-Come on Jim Gamble! Someone I know on this list (shhhh) I seem to remember would have an extra passenger go with him with minimal luggage so that he could use their luggage slot for a checked back or two for large puppet boxes. Or I have no idea what I am talking about.
