Using carpenter's glue, do I treat it like decoupage (day-coo-paj)...bursh and layer or do I soak and wipe. Also, do I use it full strength, add water,...??? I think it is time I took a class. The mice will LOVE your puppets. Not for their 'cultural value' but rather, I suspect for their nutritional value, such as it might be. I'm all for traditional methods. Truth be known, I'm not easily pryed away from the tried and true, but I have read many posts asking why mice seem to get into and destroy puppets made from flour, wheat paste and the like. I suspect the answer would be the same if you asked me why I like pasta. Paul. Please do try carpenters' glue. You can find it in small bottles just for a test. I know it imparts great strength to the finished head, and is easy to work with. I cannot comment on its nutritional value or taste. Neither can the mice.
