Many had recorded voices of actual stars like Bob Hope & Phyllis Diller (now 90). Edith Piaf appeared on a dark stage standing under a street lamp, singing with Tony's voice. Simple but very effective scene. I took many a vsiting puppeteer to see this beautiful show, including the two leaders of Takeda Marionettes of Japan. I don't know what happened to the Edith Piaf figure, but we were fortunate to acquire Bob Hope & Phyllis Diller marionettes for COPA, as an example of this important Los Angeles area puppet phenomena. Since Tony has sold some puppets I don't know any details of the Piaf puppet's whereabouts.
