I'm de-cloaking to ask the assembled masses their opinions on demo reels.? I'm in the process of putting together a new one and I'm wondering about what clips to use.? Just so you know, this will be primarily for video/film/television work as a puppeteer. On my current reel, all the clips are from characters where I've also supplied the voice.? However, I've also worked on several projects where I lip syched to a pre-recorded track (that I did not provide voices for.)? Should I add those clips to the reel? I have some photos of projects I worked on, but I do not have clips from.? Should I add those in a "montage" kind of format? Should I include a cue sheet, so folks looking at the reel will know which character I'm performing in a given scene? Just some general questions.? I'm interested in hearing what other folks have used in the past. Thanks in advance! Remember umteen million years ago when I asked some mascot head advise? This past weekend we did Shoreleave which is a Science Fiction Convention in Maryland. We participated in the costume contest and won big this time. We got first place in the champions category and Best in Show. Caroline also won in the Young Fan division for Dora Croft.
