Subject: [Puptcrit] The Fountain

It's a movie.
Probably nothing in it is what we know as puppetry.

But I've just finished watching it, and am astonished.
EVERYTHING in it is beautiful. Not a single frame is unnecessary.
A palette of color and textures and music and emotions unfelt before.

Macrophotography Technology was used in this masterpiece to artistic expression beyond what I ever thought possible.
A rare occasion where the filmmakers did not fall for the "toy trap" of technology. It is ussed here as a wonderful tool.

I must buy the DVD as soon as I can get my hand on it, to enjoy it many more times.
If you have been yearning for inspiration, subject matter, or simply a stunning visual experience, please do yourself and your loved ones a favor and see the movie.

The fountain.
Story by Darren Arronovzki and Ari Handel.
Starring Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz.
