Subject: [Puptcrit] Blinky eyes

Hi All,

I am looking for some instructions to make a "blinky eye" mechanism
(perhaps with bicycle brake or gear cable, from what I understand) that
I can use for either a hand-rod or bunraku style puppet (I also assume
this mech would be useful for any sort of "opening and closing" part,
like the beak of a bird or the hand of a marionette maybe ...). I'm new
to puptcrit and not an avid puppet builder myself, but I have two
comrades who are very handy and will probably do much of the work. Does
anybody have any instructions that would be easy for us to follow?? If
you have photos of the process, even better!

Thanks!
