It actually carves quite well  and can make some nice complex tooth shapes. 
The problem is finding it in thicker pieces. My old bosses had a large 1" 
slab that we carved a bunch of teeth from for many projects, but they 
couldn't remember where they got it.

I'm affraid it won't work for the realistic puppet I'm making. I need the
teeth to have some depth.
