I believe it was the very first Emmy handed out as well. A few award
shows back, Jon Lovetts commented on this fact, then went on to say
something to the effect of  "After Shirley passed away, Judy Splinters
went on to an illustrious career as the coffee table on "Friends"."


Well... that's a very cool and unexpected thing. I had no idea.
