But sometimes it seems like you are always trying to reivent the wheel! Perhaps the difference between you and me (and others) is that you are a puppet maker first (or solely) while my puppet making takes place so that I can work as a performer. Anyway, as you mentioned my name in a previous posting, I wonder whether the type of clay you add to latex will make a difference? I'm sure that the people at the Cementex Co. (the brand I use)figured that out a long time ago. There must be slight variations in the chemical (or mineral) make-up of different brands that could affect the quality of a finished product. Also, the puppets I made with L200 back in the early 1980's have not yet shown signs of deterioration.
