Subject: [Puptcrit] Rebellious puppet shows?

Hi all collegues and puppets.

I'd be very interested to learn about shows and their authors (past and present) that rebel, or that go against the grain, with double meanings or hidden meanings if necessary.

As mentionned in a previous post, I've been itching to create a puppet show that would bring positive messages in those sorts of veins.
The main motivation behind it is to show people of all ages that we have free will, free spirit, choices in life, no matter the pressures, expectations, burdens, traditions, religions, temptations.

And if you should know about other art disciplines that deal with these issues, please share about them too.
I'm convinced an against-the-grain show could be a beautiful meaningful piece of work, be it liberating or enraging.

Any leads?
Much appreciated!
