On p 32 there is a mention of Teschner's first visit to London. (not clear if the visit was in 1934 or 1933) but I am under the impression that the film was made in London at that time. I just came across an issue of Theatre Arts Magazine Oct 1923 with an article by Helen Haiman Joseph, on Teschner. It is very well written and there are 8 photos ( a few of them are unfamiliar to me) . The issue features puppetry. There are 4 great photos of Perry Dilley puppets. There is a very rare film- made in Austria I think If I remember correctly it uses the Teschner puppets under the supervision of a student or friend of Teschner's Steve On Dec 19, 2007 12:11 PM, Alan Cook <alangregorycook-AT-msn.com> wrote: > Some years ago at this holiday season, videos were sold a low low prices > at K-Mart which had a nativity segment by Teschner (uncredited by whoever > packaged the Christmas themed material).
