I hope you get the right answer.
We have a few foam puppet experts on Puptcrit. If Steve Wojtal is 
"listening", maybe he knows a few tricks.

I just found this on the old sagecraft page, not about fleece and foam, but 
it would probably make sense with fleece as well, being a mild way of 
cleaning things...

"CLEANING: Clean soiled latex foam as soon as possible to prevent staining 
with a cloth wet with water or isopropyl alcohol. Stronger solvents may 
damage the foam, paint or both. If a stain is bad, touch up or repainting 
may be required."
