Hi Mathieu! I'm sure you alrady know about this, thought I wuld suggest
it anyway. MAGIC DRAWING BOARD by Axtell
PICTURE THIS:
You're standing in front of your audience holding a big 14 x 17" blank
grid drawing board.
Axtell Magic Drawing Board Animation You (or with a volunteer) draw
ANYsimple face on the board....Axtell Magic Drawing Board Animation
(Mickey Mouse, Fred Flintstone or even someone in audience!)
Axtell Magic Drawing Board Animation Now that was easy....but then
something strange begins to happen...
Axtell Magic Drawing Board Animation
Right before their eyes, the drawing comes to life! It's eyes move and
the mouth opens and closes, under your complete control! (Your audience
jumps and gasps, your adrenaline rushes - you know you have a hit!)
Axtell Magic Drawing Board Animation After talking with it, you end by
visibly erasing it while it's moving leaving you clean, holding a blank
board once again! AMAZING!
Draw Thousands of Faces!

tell hm I said hllw! Good Luck! Tim Barnes

  Hi all.

I have this other idea for my first solo puppet show.
I can't go into detail yet, it's too early, but one of the types of
puppets I would need is a talking picture frame.
I know a few techniques that could make such a thing work for some
effects, but I'm more interested in making it look more convincing
than a trap jaw or a cartoon-like foam contraption.

Is there any magnetic way of making a picture or drawing talk?
I wouldn't want to be slave to any complicated electrical device or
  computer screen.

Thanks for any leads, even untested theories could help me solve it.
