Dear John,

thanks for your email. I have no memory of the accidentm the police report said I went over the front handle bars and landed on my left temple, causing a break in the left orbital bone, leaving my left eyeball not noticeably, but perceptively out of alignment with my right eye. Result is double vision when looking ahead or up. I now have glasses to correct my vision, but I was lucky to have no retina tears or other problems. Up close, looking down I still have 20-20 vision. It's just looking up that was the problem. Thanks again for your kind words. One cay I'll return to England where I lived in 1955-56 while a pilot in the US Air Force... RAF Sculthorpe, East Anglia. Jim Gamble Does My friend, Ray Palmer
(Da Silva) still live nearby?

Hi Jim,
My sympathies go with you from across the pond. I used to ride a bike
but not now. 65 years ago I went over the handle bars and am still
here to tell the tale. I have the scar across my chin though as a
memento. It didn't affect my life with puppets or my memory er...
what was I doing last week.....?
Best wishes in your recovery

John Dudley
