When I was doing  yearly puppet shows and puppetry workshops for our
university Youth Arts Festival, I made (or actually supervised children
making) hundreds of these puppets.  I thing I used these three different
years.  On alternate years we used tennis ball puppets, simple marionettes
or sock puppets and a couple of other things, but I can't remember them
clearly (getting into your mid seventies is a real irritation sometimes).
