Cuba may not be a sparkling Miami beach but after nearly 50 years of persecution, financial blockades, acts of US sponsored terrorism (Possada, a well know international terrorist, still lives comfortable in the US despite many calls for him to be bought to trial for many civillian deaths around the world) and isolation it still has a FREE and far superior health system than many western countries including the US...just ask the many ex US army vets who go there via Canada for treatment or the US AIDS victims that get their medication free from Cuba (the US government in its care for its citizens has embargoed the most effective treatment yet because it comes from Cuba), It has a far better and free education system, which is why so many Cubans are able to graduate from University and when danger threatens, like a cyclone the magnetude of Katrina, a WHOLE CITY is evacuated...every single person...all one million...GW's response? Bloody fascists forcing people out of their homes! Not one life was lost.....less than two months later.......Katrina..... And the droves leaving???? well the hanful leaving....ARE the elitists who realise that they can live the American dream because they can afford to....(with US support of course) As an elitist living well why dont you go and ask those people from New Orleans who are still living in refugee camps how much of a dump Cuba is....better yet go and visit for your self....I did.
