Our theme was "Let's Run a Real Puppet". We had bumper stickers and match books printed and ran primaries at each of our shows. We started with 5 candidates (one "law and order"; one running on a ticket of diverting the entire military budget to the arts; one for "a full cookie jar in every house"; I can't remember the others) and winnowed the field down to 2 running as a team (a married couple; were we ahead of our time??). When we ran out of steam, Schulz and Moms threw their support to Carter. It was a ton of fun! To show you how inexperienced we were at marketing, though: we didn't evennput the name of our puppet troupe (Eulenspiegel) on the match books or bumper stickers! OK, time to quit stalling and get back to rehearsal! Cheers! I disagree with most of the choices (is there no elf Muppet for Kucinich?), but Romney's and Biden's are SPOT ON!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmzKADYpGq0 _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
