There's something in your religion which doesn't allow you to fulfill  
your civic duty?  Strange religion...

I've been called for jury duty several times, although I've never  
been impaneled.  Yes, it's inconvenient and usually involves  
rearrangement of schedules, but - hokey as it may sound - I always  
feel honored to take part.
