Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] About Sharing Techniques

Mathieu,

In MHO the only way to sabotage ourselves is to not share.
Uneducated builders and performers that call themselves
Puppeteers, are what earn us low fees and lack of respect
as artists.

I left standard theatre because of the whole Back stabbing,
unsharing attitude. Puppetry is an art form where the majority
of the industry members help each other to become better and in
so doing, making the Art form itself stronger and more respected.

There will always be the few who feel that they must horde their
ideas to succeed, but really we truly succeed when all the members
of our chosen industry present themselves in a knowledgeable and
professional manner. I personally embrace the attitude of sharing
makes us stronger, and have been there for newbies on many occasions.
I have also benefited from others sharing their knowledge with me
and my company, allowing me to present a client with a successful
performance or puppet.

I'm sure there are those that might disagree with this, but I think
there are more that would agree.

Just my two cents.
