I scratched the right eye of my smallest puppet head, by a nervous movement with the sandpaper. I can't easily replace the eye without resculpting a big part of the face, or reaching from behind the head. Next time I won't take a chance and I will protect the eyes with masking tape. For this thime however, does anybody know of a way to polish a hard plastic bead until it is glossy again? I do have a Dremel rotary tool , and will try the felt polishing disk on another bead of the same package. I'd like to avoid the need for painting those eyes, as brush marks will most probably show, unless I find some self-leveling paint medim, which I haven't seen in ages. Besides, the paint finishes are never as good as the polished surface of a hard material. Any other suggestions of products, tools, methods? Thanks! _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
