Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] Making Eyes

Since I don't go for reality.....I do like black marbles (something I
learned from the Tuckers). They have a very nice reflective quality that can
make the eye seem alive.
You might be able to find them at florist shops.....or a multi-store (like a
Macy's???) In their home division.
They are used to hold flowers in a vase...real or fake.....
I got a container of 600 marbles for like 10.00 many, many, many, years ago
and have not run out yet.
Of course they are not the only thing that I use.....sometimes just paint,
or a hole or a little protuding round of some sort of modelling medium
(clay, magic sculpt, etc.). Also many years ago bought out a stock of high
quality glass rhinestones - you know multifaceted with a reflective quality.
They are called black diamonds...I might put those in the eyes in some way
as well.
I think (at least for me) that the suggestion is what is important.....
