Subject: [Puptcrit] Dealing with customer's mis-treatment of puppets. (How

Hi Mathieu--

The only advice I can offer is a bit vague, but you can handle ANY disappointment the same way, since you can't change the situation. You simply accept the fact that you cannot change such things and you hope for the next project to be better.

We ALL have disappointments. Some things in life DO stink, so better to dwell on the producive and the joyful, the meaningful and rewarding. The biggest disappointment of all is when it all ends, but we share that fate, like it or not. People die, puppets die, civilizations die, worlds die, stars die. Make the most of the time we have. With luck, someday an archeologist may dig up one of your puppets and marvel.

We've discussed RISKS lately, but this is about the BIG RISK, and we all face it.

Comfort youself in knowing you are not alone in this.

ALAN

I think it advisible to photograph one's work (which I think you do) for documentation. The photo also serves as a reminder how the puppet was BEFORE it was sullied, denigrated or mistreated.
