I will say that it usually isn't necessary for me, since I usually don't back paint my eyes. For that, you would need to really polish the injection marks. I usually sand the mark down, spray it with white primer, airbrush on a pupil and iris, then cover the whole thing in epoxy. Since the epoxy does yellow over time, backpainting is probably better for longevity, so if someone tries that micromesh, let us know how it works. GB --------- I don't backpaint either...yet, but I'd love to try. The availability of the clear perfect half domes around here (Montreal) is at best less likely than being made a pop star overnight. I've seen other shapes, mostly eggs and hearts depending on the upcoming holliday, and the quality of the plastic was brittle at best. As is my usual, I'll wait 'till I find a local supplier, or to find an online supplier that accepts Paypal payments. _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
