It has an excellent bi-lingual publication: "Enchanted Stories: CHinese Shadow Theatre in Shaanxi" published by Cultural and Arts Press. It contains full color pictures of most of the figuresin the exhibit, plus lots a great material on history, cultural context and performance. Also, Chinese Theatre Works is performing some of our OP shadow shows on March 16 and April 6 at the Institute in connection with the exhibit.
