Subject: [Puptcrit] Hot Glue in Australia's weather?

Hi all.

I am building puppets out of newspaper, tape, wooden dowels and wire. I also use hot glue and thread to hold the nylon webbing articulations. I use dual temp hot glue, and my glue gun only does high-temp.

My question is: will Hot Glue melt in Australia's legendary hot weather? (namely, in the area where UNIMA's event will soon take place).

Of course, I'm not taking any chance: I'll also use duct tape to hold everything together before doing the final skin.

But it would be nice to know what the risks are, to acertain how much precautions are to be taken....

Thanks for any pointers.
