Gaulier was trained by Jacques Lecoq , which explains a lot.
The founders of Mummenschanz and Avner Eisenberg and Julie Taymor are  
3 of his more well known students.
Lots of his students are around & started theatre companies or have  
solo careers. Buddhist Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado
offers an MFA in Lecoq Based Actor Created Theater.
