Subject: [Puptcrit] Busy in Perth


Hi all,
Very hectic here in Perth....sooooo much to see and do! over 18,600 puppets in the million puppets exhibition, a new world record!!!!!
Some beautiful Japanese rod puppetry was a special moment and La compagnie des chemins de terre performance of a puppet in the drawers was another fantastic moment at the Carnival....with over 60 free performances and numerous exhibitions and workshops and lots of street theatre made it a busy day.
Workshop with Petr is great...4 days.... Romeo and Julia was pretty good but Apples and Ladders was superb.....refer to website for details... Talk by Joan Baixas was inspiring.
Havent run into any puptcritters yet....think I saw Steve Abram in the distance talking to Richard Bradshaw at Romeo and Julia??????? We need a T-shirt or code or meeting place.....what about the State Library on Wednesday at 2:30PM? At the entrance to the Lecture Theatre. Let me know what we all think....
