I finally went to Rays Sporting Goods (locally owned) in North Plainfield, NJ where they sell braided fishline at $0.10 per yard. It was not dacron, but it will do in a pinch and cheaper than $17 for 150 yards (130 of which I don't need with any immediacy). I also had to take dark green, but hey, it works for now and is a ton easier that tying monofilament. Thanks again.
