Does anyone else notice when contemporary artists seem to be prudish  
about nudity when it's hardly appropriate to be so?

Mathieu, remember, it is the human body. We have to protect the  
children, etc. etc.

A prudish artist would just avoid the nudity. I think that this is a  
case of post production, maybe the publisher has a regulation about  
nudity so they did the blurring to satisfy that.

In the U.S. Ashcroft spent $8000. to drape a semi-nude marble statue.
