Pacific Daylight Time, creaturiste-AT-primus.ca writes: The ideas and anecdotes brought forward make me imagine a puppet play for kids with each puppet made to be a well-known "racial" or "ethnic" stereotype. At first, people could react badly, but perhaps would change their minds when each puppet realises, with the audience: "Hey, I was born looking like this. This is me. I like myself, I'm unique!" Einstein, Edit Piaf, Walter Matthau... look at all the historical figures that we remember a lot because they were very different! Some looked more different than others, but all were unique! Unique can be a way of thinking too. People who thought differently inspired the world to change!" And then each puppet could mess up our perceptions by finding their own unique clothing style and lifestyle. How about a goth-teddy-bear? Or a hippie muscle-bound behemoth? _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org **************Wondering what's for Dinner Tonight?
