Hi Jon:

I'm with you.....
They had some info on their website but I don't recall hearing or reading 
that they ever came here.

Some folks here have gone to Europe to study the Czech method of marionette 
making but I do not know the company name. I think Yvette Edery made mention 
recently of the people she studied with. If it's the same company, she's indeed 
very fortunate.

Each person has his own style and I have mine. I think I do OK, but when I 
see such inspired designs which truly exploit the potential of the puppet, I 
realize just how uptight I am with my own work. 
And I am finding that it's VERY difficult to shed one's style. I am not a 
kid...LOL   (Understatement...) 
Whatever esthetic I have been blessed with has a REAL power of its own, and I 
find that when I attempt to circumvent what comes so naturally and easy to 
me, it's a real struggle. I wonder if it's just me?

These puppets have such a magical quality and really speak to me.
