Actually it is an excellent version of the FRANKENSTEIN story and the
version of the book that I read does have the creature (it is never called a
"monster" as a good looking man who deteriotes as the story nears its
conclusion. It is available on DVD. The idea that it is a monster comes
strictly from Hollywood. At the time of the Sarrazan film the script was
published in paperback form and I still have it.
