Subject: [Puptcrit] Ave Q


Today I saw the touring version of "Ave Q" the musical with puppets that won
the Tony award for best musical a couple years ago. It is a terrifically
funny show and the puppets are wonderful. Robert McClure who performes the
two main puppets is a wonderful signer, actor and best of all really good
manipulator. If this show comes anywhere near you don't miss it. I can't
imagine that the Broadway version could be any better, so if you're in NYC,
be sure to see it. It is NOT a children's show by any means and proves that
puppets can be a great adult entertainment.
