It depends on what you are interested in, what your experience is and what you can handle time wise. Festivals are like recharging stations for creativity and desire (at least for me). Now that I am older very much like going to "Meet The Artist" - Really like to hear about the performer's process. That is also why I like performance workshops. And since there are those times that I may stay up late it is harder to get up really early (for me). Some of the workshops listed are things that I am interested in that I want to go to. Some of these unfortunately conflict with others. I tend to observe more then to participate...at least now a days. I have never done an extended workshop (mainly out of the fear of missing something else) HOWEVER have often thought that to be a mistake and by not doing so have probably missed something really great. The extended workshops will give you a good basis in one thing - Liz (eg) is a very knowledgeable, capable and committed individual. If your interest is this kind of puppet and performance then it is a good choice. When at a festival with a buddy then sometimes we split workshops and share information later - sometimes. Since I really like Crabgrass may go to Jamie Keithline's workshop -after I sign up for the festival - that is. The newspaper workshop looks interesting as does the shoe box one and Paul Vincent Davis and and and..... You see The answer - it depends You can't go wrong though...
