Reminded me of my favorite "blackface" production.
1967, SFMT, The Minstrel Show or Civil Rights in a Cracker Barrel
Multi-racial cast, where both African American and Caucasian  
performers wore blackface.
Did benefits for the NAACP. Toured the deep south.
Different times indeed.
