and group. It's completely free, and very well done.

As for posting an add for a roomate, some universities have housing services 
for their students, which include means to advertise and consult adds. Most 
have a billboard in their office or hallway, some even have an online 
version. I suggest you contact your university during the day and enquire 
about that.
Also, there might be a Craigslist location for Uconn's area...
