Alan is wise.

More wise people should run for decision-making positions. That way, they
could show their team people and their citizens to make better decisions,
and eventually, when people as a group can be sensitive and sensible, and
when they get involved, there will be very little opportunity for any
individual to seize power and misuse it.
It is so easy to let other people run the show. That's how evil happens.
When we elect "the least worse candidate on the list", or when we choose the
one with more chance of beating the worse, instead of voting for our true
choice...that's giving up.

Some say a crowd's IQ is ridiculously small compared to any of its
individual's IQ.
I've seen it happen. Bloody schools fights becoming mindless entertainment,
peaceful political demonstrations turning sour because of stupid
individuals.

Well, the more aware individual people are about who they are and what they
want to be, the less mindless they will be in crowds, and the less mindless
crap will happen.

And to make more people more aware, I believe a few important steps are to
be applied, very early in our children's lives:

-encouraging them to think for themselves and question everything!
-exposing them to diversity in all things
-exposing them to all the Arts, and Puppetry is a great one for this because
it encompases many art forms, and diversity, and it questions life!
