We had to design a Floor to 10'- 0" X 15'-0" screen for another company. 1 & 1/2" PVC, with flying buttresses on either side of the top, running down to anchors on the floor with tension wires. Material: If you are using color shadows, you'll need to contact one of the larger scenic houses and get Rear Projection Screen, I believe they do have 6'-0" wide, it will probably run you about $20 a yard plus shipping. If you are doing strait Black and White Shadows, you can contact a smaller prop or scenic house and order a light weight Muslin. This you can definitely get in 6'-0" wides and will probably run you about $12 a yard. Then you also want to get yourself some Window shade blackout material. Use the blackout material to hem the Screen area. Next look for Marine Snaps. These have a grommeted side for the fabric and a screw side for going into the PVC pipe. Well, that's is what we did in a nut shell. Part custom design, part borrowed for Jim Napolitano, founder of Nappy's Puppets. Don't forget the 10 degree tilt toward the audience. Hope this helps.
