I forgot to mention that..

- I don't use the clothespin's springs anymore, I make my own coils from 
wire, so that I can choose the gauge, the width of the joint, and the 
strenght of wire.

-One can use dowels as bones, by inserting the wire joints in them.

-Paper mache or polymer clays can be the material over the wire skeleton, 
allowing detailed results.
