Subject: [Puptcrit] Cinderella effects



Hello all -

We are creating a new production of CINDERELLA using the lovely Tichenor Marionettes but creating new sets and a new soundtrack - to premiere in June of 2009 at our theater in Nashville, TN.It's all coming together nicely but we have had a lot of discussion about certain elements of the show - specifically,?the magical "transformation" effects.? 

We are debating ideas regarding:

- Magical appearance of the Fairy Godmother
- Transformation of pumpkin to coach
- Transformation of tattered Cinderella to Ball Cinderella
- Magical fairy dust effect 

Again, the puppets are marionettes but we will? be adding an element of shadow puppetry as well. We have some ideas, but are open to suggestions we haven't thought of...
