With user made/homade/most stilts the wearer must constantly move to maintain balance. The company I cofounded had 2 pair of dry wall stilts. After I left, they were stolen. We had a show based on the original "Ramona & Jules" story that became Billy Shakespeare's "Romeo & Juliet". All the characters were very clown like, lots of highly choreographed stage fighting. All the "weapons" were variations of toilet plungers (as swords, spears, daggers, quarterstaff, etc). One of the two adversarial families wore stilts we made that made all the actors about the same height. It was an outdoor, free to the public touring show for all age audiences. picture here: http://home.wi.rr.com/mkewi53207home/images/ramona_jules_big_000.jpg - m Milwaukee _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
