Subject: [Puptcrit] War Horse

Bruce K. Chesse has written about the production of War Horse at the
National's Olivier Theatre, London, in words and reviews that I
heartily endorse.
It is the most compelling production in theatre that I have ever
witnessed. I saw it on Friday night and I haven't stopped talking
about it.
The grace and movement of the horses was outstanding.
The audience just erupted at the end of the performance and did not
want to let the cast go.
It may be a sad theme, but my own Father took part in the trenches
and although he did not talk about it very much, I now have a better
idea of what he went through and am amazed that he survived with a non
life threatening injury.
It's brilliant with puppetry at it's finest. GO AND SEE IT IF YOU CAN.
