When agents have wanted to represent me I told them what my price was (the same as what I would charge anybody) they put their percentage on top of that. One thing which is very important. If you do a job that an agent got for you, any subsequent jobs (from that one and also from that specific client) must be through the agent. When working for an agent do not try to private book, EVER! Do not hand out your own cards, EVER - It is very bad business to do so. the agent should have cards - those are the ones you use.
